CADCAI Qing Ming (Annual Tomb Sweeping Festival) Excursion to Innisfail - Sunday 30 April 2023

Visit the Innisfail Cemetery to pay our respects to the early Chinese migrants who settled in the area,  Innisfail Museum and the Innisfail Lit Sing Gung Chinese Temple.

Program 

9.30 - 10.30am:   Meet at Innisfail Cemetery - (8 Scullen Ave, Innisfail )

• Welcome and orientation
• Set up altar and offerings for Bai San (paying respects)
• Own time to ponder and wander through through the cemetery     

10. 45 -1145am:   Innisfail Museum - (9/13 Edith St https://www.innisfailhistory.com.au/

• Discover Chinese migration history of Innisfail and District
• See Poy Family Display
•  Meet Innisfail Historical Society volunteers 

12.00 - 12.30 pm:    Innisfail Lit Sing Gung Temple - 6 Owen St)

•  Meet and greet Innisfail temple community elders  /volunteers     
• Bai San (paying respects) at the temple

12.30 - 2.00 Shared Picnic Lunch under the pergola in the temple garden.

• Please bring some food food to share
