The Chinese Moon Festival aka Mid - Autmn Festival is coming (八月十五 - 15th day of the 8th month)
It's traditonally a time for family outings to enjoy a picnic and watch and appreciate the beautiful new moon at this time of year. Moon cakes, and lanterns carried by children are asssociated with this festival.
The celebrate, CADCAI is organising a family picnic and gathering at the Fig Tree Play Ground, Cairns Esplanade on Saturday, 10th September starting from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
It's time to get lanterns ready for you or your children to bring on the day.
CADCAI will provide mooncakes and drinks will be available for purchase,

Something to sit on e.g a large mat, cushion, or chair
