Join the Cairns Chinese community as it celebrates the first day of the Chinese New Year with traditional lion and dragon dance performances to bring good fortune and propsperity for the coming year. This event will be will be held at the Eastern end of the Lagoon near the heliipad.
Cultural entertainment provided by Deyi Xiao Taichi, Mugendai and CADCAI's Lion and Dragon teams from 5.30pm
The not to be missed fireworks display over the Lagoon starts at 7.30pm .
