Dragon Boat Festival & International Children's Day

Join CADCAI's community event to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival and honour our children on Saturday Ist June 2019 from 11.00- 2.00pm at the Nature Playground beside the Chinese Friendship Gardens 

• Discover the food, customs and stories related to the 2000 year-old Dragon Boat Festival 

• Cultural activities and performances presented by students from CADCAI's Chinese language classes and CADCAI performing arts groups 

• Pop-up food stall selling food and drink -  meat skewer, honey soy chicken, noodles and  traditonal Zongzi (Sticky Rice parcles wrapped in bamboo leaves) 

• Zongzi making demonstration (TBC)
